Under the leadership of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, Punjabi Department of kamla Nehru College  for Women,Phagwara celebrated ‘Punjab Day’ from October 27 to November 1, 2023 by conducting various activities such as word combination , Gurmukhi script 35word writing and speech competition. Jasveer and Priyanka Sandhu won first position and Parveen Kaur and Jaspreet Kaur won second and third place respectively in the word combination competition. Jasveer Kaur, Kiran and Maninder Kaur bagged first, second and third positions respectively in the 35 word writing competition. A student named Kamal gave information about Punjab Day through speech. Prizes were distributed to the winning students by Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, Dr. Ruminder Kaur, Vice-Principal and Punjabi department. Madam Principal congratulated the winning students and Punjabi department for organising this event.
