In continuation of 75th Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration,NSS unit, Red Ribbon Club and NCC wing of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated Blood Donation Day under the guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal. Inter-College Speech competition was organised on this occasion. Students presented their views on the importance of blood donation. About 80 students participated enthusiastically. College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal made aware the students about the health benefits of donating blood. Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the efforts  of programme officers, Dr. Lalit kumar, Ms Nidhi Jassal and Ms Priyanka ( Member Red Ribbon Club) and Dr Palwinder Kaur, NCC CTO for organising this  event.
