A motivational lecture on ‘Role of a Teacher in Nation building’ was organized at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara for its staff members. Mr. Surendra Seth, a popular media personality and author delivered the lecture, which was organized by IQAC team of the college. Speaking on the occasion, he compared the students of yesteryears with present day students and asked the teachers to inspire the students to bring the best out of them. Quoting the lines of famous personalities like Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, Abraham Lincoln and Mahatma Gandhi, he talked about the role of education in nation building and laid focus on character building of students. The talk was followed by an interactive session with the faculty members of the college. Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia and members of IQAC welcomed Mr. Seth and thanked him for delivered the lecture.
