On 01.05.2021, the Post-graduate Department of Hindi in collaboration with the IQAC conducted a webinar on the birth anniversary of the 9th Sikh Guru Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The webinar was based on the topic ‘Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji ki Bani ki Prasangikta’ ( the relevance of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s bani). Dr. Kulwinder Kaur, Head, Department of Hindi, Hindu Kanya College was invited as the resource person. She was introduced and welcomed by the convenor Dr. Asha Sharma, Head, Department of Hindi. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college Principal extended a formal welcome to the resource person and focused on the propagation of Guru Sahib’s bani so that people can practice patience and perseverance in such tough times. While addressing the participants, Dr. Kulwinder urged people to stay connected with Guru Sahib’s banj in order to find solace in the times of pandemic. She also called Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji ‘the prime epitome of perseverance’. Dr. Neelam Sethi, Hindi author, Dr. Amarjeet Singh, Comptroller,GADVASU, Mrs. Mohinder Kaur Grewal, the college faculty members and students graced this occasion with their presence. Dr. Asha Sharma and Ms. Samita proposed a vote of thanks at the end of this webinar. Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the organising committee of Hindi Department for the grand success of this webinar.
