Kamla Nehru College Library Committee in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell celebrated BOOK DONATION MONTH.

Under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. SavinderPal,the college library committee of Kamla
Nehru College for Women,Phagwara celebrated November 2023 as BOOK DONATION MONTH.
The celebrations was aimed at promoting the joy of reading and fostering a culture of sharing
knowledge through book donations. The event witnessed active participation from both students and
teachers, creating a vibrant atmosphere of literary enthusiasm.20 teachers,18 students from different
disciplines generously donated 43 General and other Syllabus books to this book donation
drive.Madam Principal Dr. Savinder Pal,Dr.Ruminder kaur,Dr. Lalit,Dr. Priyanka Aeri donated their useful
and interesting books for the needy readers.
The donated books were meticulously arranged in a separate donation box within the library, to
showcase the literary treasures.Madam Principal Dr.Savinder Pal shared heartfelt words about the significance of book donations.She emphasizing the importance of cultivating a love for reading, she explained how donated books enrich the library’s resources and my contributes to the intellectual growth of the readers. She also lauded the efforts of library committee members for organising this event and making it a success.
