Under the astute direction of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara orchestrated a community development initiative. The endeavor, spearheaded by the Eco Club and Buddy Group, entailed a multifaceted program.  This undertaking was paralleled by an educational outreach aimed at approximately 50 women and adolescent girls, highlighting the significance of menstrual hygiene in fostering optimal health outcomes. About 200 sanitary napkins were distributed among 50 ladies and adolescent girls. Notably, a tree plantation drive was also executed in the vicinity of Khurampur village near Phagwara. Several plants were also planted in the Government Primary Smart school, KhuramPur. The villagers evinced satisfaction with the initiative and pledged unwavering support for further arboreal endeavors within their community
