Under the guidance of Dr. Savinder Pal, Principal of Kamla Nehru College for Women, the Eco Club and
Science Department joined hands to celebrate World Earth Day on April 22, 2024. The event saw enthusiastic participation from about 40 students who engaged in various activities, including poster making and tree plantation, aimed at raising awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability. Dr. Savinder Pal, in her address to the students, emphasized the importance of protecting the Earth to
safeguard life. She urged the students to actively participate in such initiatives, not just on Earth Day but throughout the year.
