KNCW Library Committee in collaboration with Internal Quality Assurance Cell celebrated WORLD BOOK AND COPYRIGHT DAY.

Under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. SavinderPal,the college library committee of Kamla Nehru College for Women,Phagwara celebrated WORLD BOOK AND COPYRIGHT DAY .To mark the celebrations  PPT Presentation and Quiz was organised. More than 100 students participated in this  event. PPT regarding World Book and Copyright Day and why UNESCO celebrates this important day was presented.A quiz competition was also organised in which Radhika,Kashish Gupta,Simran Chumber and Daisy won the prizes . Dr. SavinderPal college Principal guided  the students that this day is celebrated  every year with a theme and the theme for 2024 is “Read Your Way”,under which she told them  about the choice and enjoyment in fostering a love for reading.She also lauded the efforts of library committee members for organising this event and making it a success.
