NSS Unit and NCC wing  of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara Celebrated National Integration Day to pay homage to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. To mark the contribution of Sardar Patel in the integrity of the Nation, various activities like, Seminar , marathon- Run for Unity, Pledge, NCC songs,  Poster Making and Slogan writing   were organised. Around 100 students participated in this event. Dr. Lalit kumar is delivered a seminar on National Unity Day. He made the students aware about the importance of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contribution and his key  role in the integration of the princely states into the Indian Federation. Dr. Savinder Pal, college Principal  enlightened the students about the freedom struggle. On this occasion, students and teachers took an Oath to follow his Principles in life. Dr Savinder Pal, the college Principal, appreciated the efforts put forward by Dr lalit Kumar, Ms Nidhi jassal NSS Programme officers, Dr. Palwinder Kaur, NCC CTO  and the students. She also urged the students to follow the principles of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in leading the country towards development.
