Under the able guidance of College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, NSS UNIT of the Kamla Nehru College for women, Phagwara performed various Activities in order to celebrate “Swachhata Pakhwada”. To mark the occasion  Ms Nidhi Jassal, Assistant Professor in Commerce, delivered the Extension lecture on Hygiene and sanitation,Volunteers  participated in the activity regarding safe drinking water, Poster making competition, Cleanliness Drive took place in college campus by volunteers and to mark the theme of cleanliness sanitization spray was also done. After this, a rally was  held by Volunteers. College principal, Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the joint efforts of  programme officers, Dr. Lalit kumar and Ms Nidhi Jassal for making the event a grand success.
