The seventh day was the closing ceremony of 7 day NSS special camp organised by Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara. The event was celebrated with fervour and zeal. Ms. Nidhi Jassal, programme officer, presented a floral welcome to the the chief guest ,Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal. The programme commenced with Shabad  to seek blessings from God. PPT related to all activities which were performed during 7 day camp was shown. Volunteers organised various cultural items which included Folk Dance, Solo Song, Group Dance & Poem. The Cultural event was concluded by an energy driven Bhangra performance. Apart from this , saplings of mango, jammun were planted in the park at Palahi Road. Ms. Nidhi Jassal, Programme officer, presented a full report of the camp. The efforts of NSS volunteers were appreciated by the principal Dr. Savinder Pal, and programme officers ,Ms. Nidhi Jassal by honouring them with medals and prizes. Tanisha and Sharanpreet Kaur were given the best volunteers award. Maninder, Ishita Soni, Pravesh Uppal, Kanika, and Jasmeet won the appreciation award. Medals were distributed to all the voluteers. Volunteers also gave overwhelming feedback by sharing their experiences and memories made during this camp.
