World Cyber Awareness Day  on 6th october was celebrated at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara. To mark this occasion a seminar by assistant professor Ms.Swati from Computer department was delivered on the topic ‘Cyber Security’. In which she explained the causes of cyber threats, types of cyber attacks, implementation of cyber security in system along with its techniques, benefits and preventive methods from cyber attacks were also discussed. All the students very attentively participated in the seminar. The college Principal Dr. Savinder Pal also lauded the efforts made by the Computer department in spreading awareness regarding safe internet practices.
