Giving the students a platform to show their talent, EDUTAINMENT 2017 an inter school media fest was organized by the department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara on Friday, October 13, 2017. During the event, the competitions of News Reading, Radio Jockey, Quiz, Poster Making, Scribble Pad, Caption Writing and Photography were organized in which students from various schools of the city participated. Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia was the chief guest of the function. While inaugurating the event, she talked about the importance of media and exhorted how media has become such an integral part of all our lives. She also congratulated the participating students and gave away prizes to the winners. The result of the event is:
