Department of Science in collaboration with IQAC organised an enlightening extension lecture on the intriguing topic of “Ethical Issues in the Scientific Era.” Mr. Kulkaran Singh, Lecturer in Physics, acted as Resource Person. He captivated the audience from the outset, delving into the discussion on Indigenous Technologies for a Viksit Bharat. He shed light on the historical appreciation of a scientific approach within our culture, emphasizing a shift towards embracing evidence-based practices. Addressing the
concerning rise of Pseudoscience, he urged students to engage in critical thinking, encouraging them to explore ideas, question assumptions, and validate hypotheses through empirical evidence. During the interactive session, Mr. Kulkaran Singh fostered
a spirit of collaboration by inviting students to share their thoughts and engage in meaningful discussions. His engaging anecdotes about renowned scientists added a captivating dimension to the lecture, inspiring a deeper appreciation for the ethical
considerations intertwined with scientific pursuits.
The event saw a vibrant participation of 60 students, faculty members, and Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, all actively engaging in the enriching dialogue.
