Independence Day Celebrations Under the “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign at Kamla Nehru College by NSS Unit and Department of Music
The ongoing “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, celebrating India’s Independence Day, commenced on 9th August 2024 and will continue through 15th August 2024. The week-long celebration has seen enthusiastic participation from students and NSS volunteers alike.
Students sang patriotic songs during the morning assembly, filling the atmosphere with a sense of pride and devotion to the nation. Additionally, NSS volunteers contributed to the festive spirit by painting their hands with the colors of the Tiranga and creating beautiful Rangoli designs, symbolizing national unity. The “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign continues to inspire a deep sense of national pride and unity, with the community eagerly looking forward to the culmination of the celebrations on Independence Day.
College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, lauded the collective efforts of Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Lalit Kumar, the Programme Officers, for successfully organizing the event. She expressed her appreciation for their dedication to instilling patriotism and teamwork among the students and volunteers.
