Assuring a day of fun and frolic for the students of the college, ‘Jolly Jamboree’ was organized by the students of the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara. The event was planned by the students of B Voc (JMC) fifth semester as a practical exercise for their subject of ‘Event Management’ with the help of other students of the department. During the event, the students had put up various stalls including Photo shoot, photo printing on Cups, T Shirts, Cushions, Key chains, Mehndi, Movie Screening and had created a ‘Haunted House’ in the college, all prized at very nominal rates. Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia was the chief guest at event and inaugurated the same. She visited all the stalls and appreciated the work done by the students. The faculty members and student of various departments of the college gave wonderful response and enjoyed the event.
