Under the Patronage of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, Department of Home Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara actively celebrated Poshan Maah in the month of September, 2022. Various activities were conducted to spread the message of  healthy eating habbits  and consuming nutritious diet. During the celebration, quiz competition on nutritious diet was organised , low cost healthy recipes were made. Students of Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition performed short play in the college Auditorium. Students planted herbal saplings in small pots. They also made posters, charts and  wrote slogans on healthy diet. Principal of the college, Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated the students and teachers, Dr. Priyanka Aeri and Summita Bhalla of the department for putting up such successful activities which can be helpful in generating awareness among masses to adopt healthy nutrition diet. She also lauded the students for their month long efforts in spreading the message of healthy eating.
