Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara celebrated Children’s Day with fun and frolic. The day is celebrated on the birth anniversary of first Prime Minister of India, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru to commemorate his love and devotion towards children, their education and development. The celebration commenced with the welcome of principal Mam to the occasion. Several games were arranged to promote physical and mental fitness of the students. The auditorium was reverberated with the sounds of applause and hoots of laughter. All the students enjoyed every bit of their special day. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal informed the students about love and contribution made by Chacha Nehru for the country. She wished success to all the students and achieve great heights in near future as they are the real nation builders.
