The students of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara proved their mettle at various events organized recently.Department of Sciences of the college organized an award presentation ceremony for the office bearers
of Science Forum, Energy Squad and Green Squad. Science Forum is an active body of the department which organizes various extracurricular activities. The students and office bearers of the wings were honoured by College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia on the occasion. Similarly, NCC Cadet of the college Salvia secured second position in firing competition organized at Cambridge International School, Phagwara and has also been selected for inter-battalion firing championship.

Earlier, the students of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of the college had organized ‘Power Lunch’ wherein they took orders for lunch from staff members and prepared three-course meal for them.College Principal Dr. Kiran Walia congratulated the students and the departments on the occasion.
