Under the able guidance of College Principal, Dr Savinder Pal; Science Department, Red Ribbon
Club and NSS Unit of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated World Cancer Day
.On this occasion, a Poster making competition was organised . The students participated
enthusiastically in the celebration by making posters . The main aim of celebrating this day was
to create awareness among the students about cancer, its diagnosis and preventive measures.
Dr. Savinder Pal , college principal also interacted with the students and encouraged them to
take positive and proactive approach against the global cancer pandemic. Madam Principal
appreciated the joint efforts put in by Ms Priyanka , NSS Programme Officers, Dr. Lalit Kumar
and Nidhi Jassal for making this event successful.
