Making the institution proud, the girls of Kamla Nehru College for Women Phagwara remained champions in the Under 19 Girls Kabaddi Block Tournament held at Government Senior Secondary School for Boys, Phagwara on Thursday.The girls proved their mettle and were adjudged the winners in the event. The girls who were members of the winning team included Satwinder Kaur, Salma, Harminder Kaur, Simranjeet, Monika, Samriti, Reepika, Gurpreet, Gurpreet Kaur, Anjali and Sonia.Celebrating this achievement, Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia congratulated the winning team and faculty members of department of Physical education Dr. Madhu Kataria and Ms. Priya Gill on the occasion.
