An ‘Honour Ceremony’ for renowned Hindi writer Dr. Vinod Shahi was organized by Hindi Department of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara in collaboration with Triveni Sahitya Academy, Jalandhar. Well-known names like Mohan Sapra, Tarsem Gujral, Rashmi Khurana, Sewa Singh, Geeta Dogra, Sanjay Mishra and Bishan Sagar from the world of Hindi Literature were present on this event.

On this occasion, Principal Dr. Kiran Walia gave a floral welcome to all the guests. The ceremony was extended with a discussion by all the present dignitaries over the creative contribution given by Dr. Vinod Shahi to Hindi Literature. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Shahi said that for guidance in life, today’s youth need to connect to its culture and tradition and that gap can only be filled by a good writer.
Principal Dr. Kiran Walia thanked all the guests for their gracious presence and expressed gratitude towards their contribution in Hindi Literature.
