P.G dept. Of political science and history department of Kamla nehru college for women, Phagwara celebrated ‘Gandhi Jayanti’. On the memory of this day departments organized ” slogan writing ” competition for college students. Ms. Tanveer kaur of BA- 1st sem got first position in this competition while Anjali kaur of +2 Arts got second position and third position bagged by Kusum student of +1 Arts. Students also watched movie on Gandhi’s life and made aware about Gandhi’s life and thoughts. Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia congratulated the event organising departments for this activity.
