On 19-10-2022 under the guidance of College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, NSS UNIT of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara Celebrated National Level Special Campaign – Clean India Programme. Under this campaign, NSS volunteers visited some villages and created awareness among the villagers regarding cleanliness  where they cleaned the surrounding areas in the villages, they also collected wastage and handed it over to the village Sarpanch. After that a rally was also organised to create awareness regarding the stopage of stubble burning. During the rally NSS volunteers presented the message that we should not burn stubble and save the environment from pollution. Dr Savinder Pal, college Principal appreciated the efforts of NSS volunteers and Programmes officers Dr Lalit Kumar and Ms Nidhi Jassal for organizing such a great event.
