Making the institution proud, the students of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara bagged medals during the 20^th Senior Punjab State Wushu Championship 2017 held at Lovely Professional University on September 16 and 17. Manjot Longia and Sumandeep Kaur won Gold Medals, Manisha won Silver medal while Neha won bronze medal during the championship. Owing to their position, both Manjot and Sumandeep have been selected for the National Wushu Championship and will represent Punjab in their weight category. President of College Managing Committee Mr. IK Sardana, Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia and Teacher of Physical Education department Dr. Madhu Kataria congratulated the winners and wished them all the best for the upcoming events.
