Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara won the first runner up trophy in the Zonal Youth festival
organized by Guru Nanak Dev University. A total of 17 colleges participated in this zone. Kamla Nehru
College participated in a total of 22 items and secured first position in 5 items, second position in 5
items and third position in 3 items. The college won first positions in Giddha, Kavishri, Cartooning,
Photography and Installation, while won second position in on the spot painting, Clay Modelling ,
Elocution, Rangoli, and Phulkari . It was at the third spot in group shabad, collage and quiz . Principal Dr.
Savinder Pal congratulated the participants and the teaching and non-teaching staff who contributed in
one way or the other during the preparation of youth festival and hoped for such constructive
achievements in the future. Vice Principal Dr. Ruminder Kaur also congratulated the winners.
