A lecture on ‘Internet of Things’ was organized by the PG Department of Computer Science of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara on Monday. Mr. Abhinav Kumar, Manager-Marketing and Business Development, Unlimit-Reliance Group of IoT Business delivered the lecture.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Kumar talked at length about Internet as a technology and its application in various fields. Mr. Kumar shared as to how Internet has become a household name and how it is being used productively in various sectors like Science and Technology, Transport, Automobiles, etc. He further explained how many productive uses can be derived from Internet in our daily lives. By attaching Internet to electronic appliances of daily use their safety can be enhanced.
Principal of the college Dr. Kiran Walia welcomed the guest and thanked him for sharing his views with the students. The faculty members and students of department of Computer Science attended the lecture.
