A Lecture on ‘Print Media’ was organized at Kamla Nehru College for Women Phagwara on Monday. Dr. Kamlesh Singh Duggal, Former Head Department of Journalism and Mass Communication, Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus Jalandhar delivered the lecture. The event was organized by the Department of Journalism and Mass Communication of the college.Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Duggal talked about the present scenario of print media in the country as well as Punjab. He advised the students to be well versed with current affairs and develop a command over language to make a career in journalism. The lecture was followed by an interactive sessions with the students of the department. Principal of the college, Dr. Kiran Walia welcomed Dr. Duggal and thanked him for sharing his experience with the students. Prof. Archna Walia from the Department of JMC introduced Dr. Duggal. On the occasion, faculty members Prof. Navneet Pal Kaur, Prof. Ritika Singla, Mr. Sanjay Rai and the students of the department were present.
