One day workshop on various types of Stitches on Automatic Sewing Machines at KNCW
Departments of Fashion Designing and Home Science in collaboration with IQAC of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized a one day workshop on various types of Stitches on Automatic Sewing Machines on 12th April, 2023. About 50 students of different classes attended the workshop and learnt a variety of stitches on Automatic Sewing Machines from the professional instructors. Mr Shahjeet and Mr Maninderpal Singh from Usha Company were invited to give the demonstration. They brought their new updated version of the Usha Sewing Machines and demonstrated the different features along with different stitches. Students got an opportunity to know about the different decorative stitches. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal appreciated the initiative taken by the members of Fashion Designing and Home Science departments for organizing this kind of workshop.
