In an effort to enhance the knowledge and understanding of students, under the abeled guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, the PG Department of Commerce, organized a workshop on the topic of Goods and Services Tax (GST) for Nearly 100 students of B.Com & BBA Semester students. The workshop, held today, aimed to shed light on the intricacies of GST and its impact on businesses.

Renowned Chartered Accountant (CA) Chirag Jain (SNC & Assosiates ) was the esteemed resource person for the workshop. With his expertise and experience, CA Chirag Jain delved into various aspects of GST, covering key points such as the introduction to GST, its structure, and the different tax rates associated with it. He also emphasized the significance of input tax credit, GST registration, and the importance of filing GST returns.

During the workshop, students had the opportunity to gain insights into GST compliance procedures and learn about the recent updates in the GST framework. The interactive session provided a platform for students to ask questions and engage in meaningful discussions, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

The knowledge gained from this workshop will benefit the students in their future endeavors in the field of commerce.
