Keeping in view the need to save the environment, plants have been distributed to NCC cadets in Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara. Sappling of distributed plants were grown in the college premises which will be planted by NCC cadets and punjab battalion in their native villages. College principal Dr. Savinder Pal explain the importance of trees and encourage the students to clean the environment. She added it will be the responsibility of the students to nurture the plants. On this occasion Ms. Anuradha from the department of english and NCC incharge Dr. Palwinder were present.
