Kamla Nehru College For Women, Phagwara in collaboration with IQAC celebrated ‘World Ozone Day’ organised by science Department on theme ‘Fixing the Ozone layer and Reducing Climate Change’ by Vertical Gardening and Rally inside the college campus. The main aim of this programme was to bring awareness among students to prevent the depletion of Ozone layer. Around 40 students participated in these events. Out of which Mehipal of B.Sc.(Med) Sem -5 got first position. Gursimran and Monika of B.Sc.(Med) Sem-5 got 2nd position and Vinny and Shruti of B.Sc. (Med) Sem -3 got 3rd position. Taniya, Gurleen, Sonia , Saloni, Sukirti, Kajal and Amanpreet got appreciation awards and consolation prizes respectively. Dr.Savinder Pal, college Principal and Ms. Priyanka, HOD Science department presented a token of gratitude and motivated the science department to organize such events in future.
