Under the able guidance of Dr Savinder Pal, Principal ,Kamla Nehru College for women Phagwara, the department of history celebrated 117th birth anniversary of Shahid Bhagat Singh. The students of Bhagat Singh Society  took part in various activities like poster making ,poetical recitation and declamation. Mr Harjeet Singh ,assistant professor Punjabi department shared his valuable views about the memorable achievements of Bhagat Singh. Dr  Savinder Pal enlightened the students about the sacrifices made by Bhagat Singh for the cause of national movement. She also appreciated the efforts done by the department. About 76 students  took active participation.
