NSS UNIT and NCC wing of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized an Extension lecture on “Traffic Rules Awareness” to celebrate Road Safety Week from 12th to 17th January 2023. Honourable Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, NSS Programme officers Dr. Lalit Kumar, Ms. Nidhi Jassal and Dr. Palwinder Kaur, NCC-CTO presented a floral welcome to the speaker Sh. Gurbachan Singh (ASI), Punjab Police and Incharge Traffic Education Cell, Kapurthala. The speaker instructed the students to obey traffic rules and wear helmet and fasten seat belt while driving.  The speaker also stressed the significance of vehicles to be in good operating condition and emphasised the need for working headlights, taillights, indicators, and brakes.

About 85 students and 15 teachers attended the lecture.
