ECO Club celebrated “National Wildlife Week”

Under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Savinder Pal, the Science Department, in collaboration with ECO Club, celebrated “National Wildlife Week” from 14th to 19th October, 24. One of the highlights of the event was an essay writing competition that saw enthusiastic participation from students across different grades. The essays, centered around the theme of safeguarding our natural heritage, allowed students to express their innovative thoughts and ideas. In addition to the essay competition, a poster making presentation was also held, showcasing creative visuals and messages focused on wildlife conservation. The vibrant and informative posters reflected the students’ artistic abilities and their understanding of the urgent need to protect endangered species and ecosystems. A presentation on wildlife conservation was also showcased, providing students with an insightful glimpse into the challenges facing various species and the steps that can be taken to protect them. The presentation further highlighted the rich biodiversity of India and the role of each individual in safeguarding it. Speaking on the occasion, the Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, shared her views on the significance of the event. “National Wildlife Week is a reminder for us all to be mindful of our responsibility towards nature.” The event concluded with a note of encouragement to the students to continue learning about wildlife and contribute to efforts that protect and preserve our natural heritage. Madam Principal also congratulated the teachers of the Science Department and the members of Eco Club for organizing this event.
