Under the able guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, the NSS Unit and Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated Veer Bal Divas from 23rd December 2024 to 26th December 2024. As a part of this celebration, various activities such as essay writing, poster making, extension lecture, documentary film,and poetry recitation were organised. The celebration was held in order to make the students aware of the Sikh history and to instill in them a sense of courage, sacrifice, and love for their faith. Madam Principal addressed the students and made them aware of the sacrifices of the Sahibzadas as they were steadfast in their discipline and uncompromising in their dedication to their faith. Through this celebration, the students were encouraged to live their lives based on the principles of honesty and selfless devotion by commemorating the ultimate sacrifices of the Sahibzadas. College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, appreciated the efforts put in by NSS Programme Officer, Ms. Nidhi Jassal, and Dr. Priyanka Aeri (EBSB Incharge), as the celebration was a remarkable effort to instill patriotism and moral values among the students.
