Under the able guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal , Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organized awareness Rally compaign in the
adopted village Chak Hakim. This Rally was based on AIDS, drugs and dowry system under the directions of Red Ribbon Club .The purpose of the rally was
to spread the awareness and precautions regarding the social evils in the locality .The volunteers of club raise their voices in the areas by shouting HIV/AIDS, drugs and dowry system awareness slogans under the banner. Around 60 students actively participated in the Rally. Sarpanch of the village Mr. Varun Bangar, Ms. Rajni (member panchayat), College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, Nodal Officer, RRC, Ms. Priyanka
Mankhand, Ms. Tunish and Ms. Tavisha (staff members),Programme Officer, Ms. Nidhi Jassal accompanied the Rally in the streets of the village. Dr. Savinder Pal, College Principal appreciate the joint efforts of the Red Ribbon Club and NSS unit of Kamla Nehru College For Women, Phagwara.
