The Cosmetology Department of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, organized a visit to Planet Scissors Salon, Phagwara, providing students with valuable hands-on experience in the beauty industry.

Ms. Sheetal, owner of Planet Scissors Salon, conducted a live demonstration of the Hydra Facial procedure, explaining both the advantages and precautions of using the Hydra machine with great expertise. The session was highly informative, helping students understand modern skincare treatments and techniques.
Apart from technical knowledge, students also gained insights into salon management, customer handling, and professional ethics, which are essential for a successful career in cosmetology.
Encouraging the students, Principal Dr. Savinder Pal emphasized the importance of learning salon display techniques and management skills to excel in the field.
A total of 27 students, accompanied by Head of the Department Geeta Sharma and faculty members Paramjit Kaur, Himanshi, and Deepshikha, participated in this educational visit. The experience proved to be enriching, equipping students with practical knowledge and industry exposure.
