*Kamla Nehru College for Women Organizes Community Outreach Program on Nutrition*

On March 6th, 2025, the Home Science Association at Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, undertook a community outreach program to educate lady laborers of village Hajipur about the significance of nutrition for themselves and their children. The event, held at village Hajipur, Phagwara, was guided by Principal Dr. Savinder Pal.

*Students Take Active Role in Community Engagement*

Students from the Home Science department and the Diploma in Nanny Care and Nutrition programs actively participated in the program, with a total of 34 attendees. As part of the initiative, students distributed nutritious eatables, including fruits, biscuits, and juice, to the laborers, emphasizing the importance of healthy eating habits.

The program provided valuable insights into nutrition, making a positive impact on the community and fostering greater awareness of health and well-being. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal commended the efforts of Dr. Priyanka Aeri and Ms. Vishali in organizing the event and expressed enthusiasm for conducting similar programs in the future.
