Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara organised a Grand Farewell Party and Prize Distribution Function in the college auditorium to bid adieu to the outgoing class on February 18,2025. The chief guest of the occasion, Dr. Savinder Pal was accorded planter by the organisers. Dr. Ruminderkaur, Vice Principal also graced the occasion with her presence. In the prize distribution function, the winners of sports competition were honoured with certificates. The farewell party commenced with a beautiful dance performance, followed by other performances like dances and songs, which were appreciated by the entire audience with thundering applause. To add fun to this programme games were also organized for the students. Modeling was the main attraction of the day which was judged by the judges, Ms Pinki and Dr. Swapnil who shortlisted candidates for the question answer round and then the final judgment for the coveted titles of the year were announced. Simran from Science stream was awarded Miss KNC where as Shreya and Deepshikha from Science stream were adjudged as 1st and 2nd runner up. Further, the title of Miss Elegant was bagged by Jasmine , title of Miss Confident was awarded to Kiranjit The outgoing student, Shreya gave a very heartwarming Thankyou speech on the behalf of all the outgoing students in which she thanked College Principal, Vice- Principal, all the teachers, her peers for their extreme support, influence and motivation at all the levels. After that Radhika from +1 commerce bid adieu on the behalf of all the juniors, wishing the outgoing class a very bright and prosperous future ahead. On this occasion Principal of the institution wished best of luck and bid farewell to the outgoing students and motivated them by saying anything can be achieved by sincere hard work and dedication.She further added in her speech that all the beautiful memories they shared together in this college will always be a part of their memory trousseau.
