IQAC in collaboration with Professor Puran Singh Science Society of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara celebrated “World Water Day”. On this occasion , around 25 students present ‘‘Placard Poster presentation’’ under the theme of ‘Accelerating the change to solve the water and sanitation crisis’. The foremost incentive of this event was to create awareness about water scarcity, importance of clean water and its conservative measures among the students. Dr. Savinder Pal, the college principal motivated the students and enlightened them with her views about protecting underground water. Students also took pledge to conserve water everyday and take action in their own lives to change the way they use, consume and manage water.
