Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara marked another success by winning overall 2nd Runner Up
Trophy at D- Zone Zonal Youth Festival organized by Guru Nanak Dev University. The rigorous
preparation and dedication of the participants were evident as the college participated in a total of 23
items and secured first position in 2 items : Elocution and Fancy Dress, 2nd position in 3 items : Giddha,
Rangoli and Phulkari and 3rd position in 6 items : Kavishri, Group Word, Painting on the Spot,
Photography, Quiz and Mehndi. College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal congratulated all the participants for
their dedication and efforts and lauded the efforts of the faculty and organizers who guided the
students throughout the preparation and event. The Vice Principal of the institution also congratulated
the winners on this attainment.
