Under the able guidance of College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, and Vice Principal, Dr.
Ruminder Kaur, Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, marked Blood Donation Day with
an engaging poster-making and Declamation competition organized by the Red Ribbon Club
and the Department of Science on October 1st, 2024.
Around 30 students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their creativity while raising
awareness about the significance of blood donation. Gifts were awarded to the winners. The
competition aimed to educate students on the importance of donating blood and its life-saving
benefits. College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, and Vice Principal, Dr. Ruminder Kaur
congratulated the Science Department faculty for successfully organizing the event, which also
helped instill the values of social responsibility and compassion among the students.
