Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara organised a send-off party in honour of Dr. Asha Sharma, Head, Department of Hindi on February 28, 2023 who retired after serving this institution 18 years and total 30 years of her service. Along with being the best teacher, she made her mark as skilled stage operator.
She along with her family members was given a warm floral welcome by the college principal Dr. Savinder Pal and the entire college family. Her journey and beautiful memories in this college were presented through PPT. On this occasion, a culture program was also organised. . Dr. Asha Sharma spoke about her long journey in this college. She also reminisced the cherishable memories associated with the college and thanked everyone for their support. Dr. Priyanka Aeri from Home Science department was the stage secretary on this occasion. Principal Dr. Savinder Pal presented citation to Dr. Asha Sharma and wished her a healthy, peaceful and relaxed retired life. Dr. Asha Sharma and her family members were falicitated by the whole college family.
