KNJCW celebrated Veer Bal Diwas

Under the able guidance of the college Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal ,Kamla Nehru Junior College for Women, Phagwara celebrated Veer Bal Diwas from December 16 to December 26,2024 with great enthusiasm and reverence to honor the unparalleled sacrifice of Chote Sahibzade. Various activities including Poem, Painting, Documentary and Eassay Writing were performed. Mannat, Diljinder, Rajveer and Naina, students of Junior College recited heartfelt poems dedicated to the bravery and martyrdom of  Chote Sahibzade. The paintings made by Simran Seehra, Harmanpeeet Kaur Dhillon and Gurleen served as a visual reminder of the  supreme sacrifice of Chote Sahibzade for the Sikh faith and humanity. Students,Shreya Sharma, Jasika Randev and Harman  highlighted the values of resilience, faith, and dedication that the Sahibzade embodied through Essay. A documentary was also shown to the students. The principal of the college delivered an enlightening address, narrating the story of the Chote Sahibzade’s supreme sacrifice for their faith and principles. At last, the college Principal lauded the efforts of organisers as the event was a remarkable effort in instilling patriotism and moral values among the students.
