Under the able guidance of the college Principal, Dr. Savinder pal, Medical Health Checkup Committee  and IQAC organised one Day Medical Health Camp in Collaboration with Akash Hospital, Phagwara. Dr. Gurkiran kaur, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Akash Hospital delivered a lecture on the topic ‘Harmonal Disorder among Adolescent Girls’. She  sensitized the students about Menstrual Cycle, PCOS and Menopause through presentation and also discussed various changes that women go through as they age. Moreover, She underscored the importance of maintaining highest level of hygiene during periods as knowledge of period hygiene is  important as knowledge of period. During the interactive session, students got satisfactory answers for their queries. About 675 students and faculty members attented this lecture. The Principal of the institution expressed her gratitude to the guest for sparing precious time and sharing tips on this important topic with the students. She further commended the efforts of organising committee for conducting such informative and enlightening session.
