Under the supervision and guidance of col. Yogesh Bhardwaj,the NCC cadets of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara participated in a cleanliness drive in which they cleaned the Shaheed Bhagat Singh Park, Phagwara on the day of Baisakhi.Paying homage  to the Shaheed Bhagat Singh ,the cadets  also organized a 1 km run.The cadets also pledged they will strive to contribute their part for the betterment of the society,keeping in mind the contribution and sacrifice of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. Along with that the cadets tried to create awareness among people to discontinue the use of ‘S ingle use plastic’. The cadets of Ramgarhia College and Swami Sant Das School along with the cadets of kamla Nehru College for Women also participated  in this event by the NCC.Dr. Savinder Pal,the college Principal congratulated the students and also urged them to participate in the upcoming events with full enthusiasm.CEO ,Dr.Palwinder Randhawa also contributed for the successful execution of these activities.
