Under the guidance of college principal Dr. Savinder  Pal, NSS and NCC wing of Kamla Nehru College for Women Organised “Voter Awareness” through Online Activities. Ms Nidhi Jassal, Programme officer welcomed honorable College Principal Dr. Savinder Pal. She told the students about the importance of voting. She explained voting is a fundamental act of civic participation by which young people can contribute to strengthen democracy. Educated youth should understand their participation and make judicious use of their votes. Students of NSS and NCC participated enthusiastically in Slogan Writing and Poster Making on the theme ‘Voter Awareness’ .80 students participated in this event. Students Ms. Parul, Ms. Pinaz, Ms. Shreya, Ms. Tanisha, Ms. Komal and Ms. Parvesh Spoke about the “Role of youth in voter Awareness”. Dr. Savinder Pal, College Principal, encouraged the students to cast their votes and elect the deserving candidates. Vote of thanks was proposed by Dr. Palwinder Kaur Randhawa, CTO NCC.
