Under the able guidance of the College Principal, Dr. Savinder Pal, the NSS Unit and EBSB of Kamla Nehru College for Women, Phagwara, celebrated National Youth Day. On this occasion, NSS volunteers made posters on the theme of ‘National Youth Day.’ Madam Principal enlightened the NSS volunteers about the importance of celebrating this day as it is celebrated to honour the contributions of Swami Vivekananda to raise interfaith awareness. She also said that this day is an essential reminder of the pivotal role that youth plays in shaping the future of India. NSS volunteers, along with NSS Programme Officers Ms Nidhi Jassal and Dr Lalit Kumar, attended the live telecast of the inaugural session of the Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue. The volunteers also took an E-pledge and were given E-certificates.
