Under the able guidance of the College Principal , Dr Savinder Pal, NSS Unit, NCC Wing and EBSB of
Kamla Nehru College for Women,Phagwara celebrated Republic Day on 26th January, 2024. The
celebrations commenced as the NCC Volunteers came piloting. Honourable College Principal, Dr
Savinder Pal,hoisted the National Flag along with Vice Principal,Dr. Ruminder kaur, NSS Programme
officers Dr lalit Kumar, Ms Nidhi Jassal, College faculty members Mr Kuldeep Singh, Madam Inderpreet and NSS volunteers. The flag hoisting ceremony was followed by the National Anthem. Madam Principal also addressed the students and enlightened them about the history of the day explaining its importance . The day was full of patriotic fervour as the students sang patriotic songs displaying their gratitude for the soldiers. Concluding the ceremony, Madam Principal appreciated the efforts put in by the NSS Programme Officers, Dr. Lalit Kumar and Ms Nidhi Jassal , and Dr Priyanka Aeri for making the celebration successful.
